Pics of the EIII I got from E-MU HQ up in northern california. This EIII was the EIII in front of the tech support specialist at E-mu. So if you called E-mu asking for EIII tech support they where using this machine. Roginators' EII+ was the corresponding EII that was used by the tech support specialist if a customer called asking for EII tech support. Both Emulators where in pretty much mind condition, or at least the best pair of EII and EIII (rack) that I've ever seen, perhaps they where former Miss Emulator champions??? I dunno, but they sure look like they could be.
The cabling inside is very nice, and there is a mod for I believe the CD or HD drive to make it easier to hook that up to the EIII. The mod is basically a port on the back. The other mod is basically what I believe to be a heat shield cardboard screwed onto the middle board within the card cage.
