If you have an 'old' mac (and a fitting midi interface) - get this:

http://www.watersedgesoftware.com/05Solutions/SP-12Librarian/index.html

have a quick look at the specs, and you know there won't be anything faster.

Greetz,

I have tried both the SP-12 Librarian for Mac (Wateredgesoftware) and the GenPatch for Atari (Hybrid Arts)...

Both of them work well.

If you are lucky... You might find SP-12 Drumfile by Blank software.
This is probably the best Mac program for your SP. also look for alchemy by passport software. You can do visual wave file editing with this.
