Replacement fan for E3 rack

Noisy as hell, you know...
Did anyone change their E3 rack fan with good results? Did a search here, found one suggestion, with a warning on power consumption, but haven't heard of actual results.
Anyone?

I don´t know if it´s the same fans in the rack as in the keyboard
but i installed Noctua NF-R8 PWM  in my keyboard
same W as original and moves the same amount of air
but is only 10db with LNA inserted.
That with a 1gb CF instead of original HD makes it very quiet.
What makes the most noise now is the fan above the PSU
probably because it´s makes a acoustical sound when blowing air right at the
ventilation opening which should be wider....

My other Keyboard has a Nonoise system connected to the originals
fans makes them much quieter.Looks like some sort of heat sensor pointing at the CPU board.

Here is the difference

The rack version seems to have  more power for the fans
and doesn´t need to move so much air.
Also bigger size 92mm.
This will work fine

will lower noise from 20db to 13 with LNA installed
and still move more air.

by the way, dumb question probably but, what is LNA (installed)?

No the rack has more power for fans.

LNA is just a insert cable between fan and voltage cable
with a resistor to lower the speed/power meaning less noise.

Bought the Noctua NF-B9 PWM 92mm, but I have a problem!
The connectors are different! I am a musician, not a repair tech, and thought I could do the swap myself. No way. The new fan ends with a small four-connectors "female", connected to four coloured wires. The "male" waiting for her (the one outcoming from the E3's power supply)  is a plug with just two wires, and is much wider than the female plug. I am not sure if it is just a matter of looking for an adaptor, and - if so - if such an adaptor exists. I am bothered by the two vs four wires mismatch. Sadly, I had to reinstall the old Sanyo fan.

Red goes to red( +12v)
BLack goes to BLack(could be green or blue as you see on mine )
You don´t have to worry about yellow.
This is how I did it.

Hi, thank you so much! I am just terrible with this stuff.
So, I must deconstruct the plug from the Noctua, forget the other two and only pick the red and the black, and implant them in the Emu plug coming from the power supply? (no adaptor?)
Also, I forgot there are TWO fans in the E3, so in case I must buy another one...

you don´t have a friend who´s good with a soldering iron?
or ask you local computer store if they can make an adapter for you.

but yes you just have to connect the red cable from the fan  with the red
from the PSU and vice versa for the black/green
but you want it to be proper done.

Don´t forget to also insert the LNA adapter that came with the fan.

I use 2 x NB-BlackSilentPRO from Blacknoise Germany, 92x92x25, 1300 RPM, 0,81 Watt, 0,06 A (12V), 24,7 CFM, Acoustical Noise: 14 dB/A, incl. Noise Blocker / Silent Frame / Cabel (Red -> Yellow, Black -> Blue)

Straight and Easy Installation. The Output-Board/Cage does not have to be removed.
