hello I have a problem on an E3
he asked  Mounting disc it has frozen 10 min at lcd


I disconnect restart There Is nothing in the LCD just light blue

When I move maximum the potentiometer rotary for  the LCD panel

many LED panel light

it does not boot on floppy it nothing happens  Cry
someone has an idea of the problem

I don´t really understand your problem.

Is the LCD blank from start?
What do you mean by 10minutes?

It doesn´t boot either from HD or floppy?

I would check and make sure your 5V supply is at 5.05V. Seems to cure a multitude of sins. There is a trimmer for it.

it and stay on the Mounting disc  and I turned off the e3
the restart nothing works in the boot program lcd just light it nothing happens

but I doubt the problem and 5.05V
this is the first time I see this failure
it works very well before he loaded the bone I even change the eeprom  380/381 this failure always

Many times, wise guys taking E3 appart don't see that the scsi cable passes THRU the vent of the card cage, and then, goes to the disk.
If you pass the cable on top, the pins of the front panel drill holes into it and make shorts.

I bet this guy is french, he can write to me in french at the Keyboards recording forum, Dr.C

Bonjour oui je suis français
 Les câbles SCSI son placer correctement sur les pins sans erreur  
 Je connais bien le E3  pour en avoir dépanné quelque 'un mais  cette panne je ne les jamais rencontrer
J’ai  deux  E3 un ou j’ai réparé l’alim et quelque petit problème  on été corriger
Il fonctionner bien avec un disque dur scsi  40Mo d’origine Emu de couleur Noir

Un 2 eme E3 en panne
J’ai testé les cartes de celui qui ne fonctionner pas Une a une  sur celui qui marcher
J’ai découvert que des ic PCM53JP-1  Monter sur support sur une PCB Ouput été en mauvais contact  sur leur support
Apres avoir nettoyer  les pattes des ic  le 2eme redémarré  sur disquette correctement
Lui n’avez pas de disque dur installé
Quand j’ai testé une 2eme fois la carte cpu board sur celui ou et installé le disque dur 1er E3
J’ai laisse faire la procédure de montage du disque dur
L’écran et rester sur mounting disc  j’ai attendu 10mn rien ne changer j’ai arrêté  le E3
Et redémarrer et la plus rien il ne démarrer plus
 J’ai replacé l’autre carte cpu board Originale du 1er E3  la même chose il ne veut plus démarrer aussi
Je me retrouve avec les 2 E3 en panne  LCD avec juste une lumière il ne démarre pas l’os
