HxC workflow, procedure?

I am having a hell of a time wrapping my head around what Im supposed to do to get these sound files (.EII) to become bootable OS files for use in the HxC.

  Can someone who's got this procedure down, please do a simple step by step as to how to get the HxC working great with the EII?

 I know how to use emxp. I have the HxC software. I just can't  get any sound files to boot, only from the os3.1.hfe file - I'm not understanding the "merging" ofthe different files to create a bootable sound bank.

Help!
