I see garbled text on my display. Does anyone have a clue what the problem might be?

If you disconnected the ribbon cable to the analog board does the problem go away?

Today i and an older experienced guy went to look for the problem

We found a couple of parts that looked strange to him.

#1 - resistor - after measurement it did not respond - other resistors did respond/measure (therefore the temp bypass) C5

#3 - L8212CPA ic - gives not stable output or seems like it.

After first investigation today, we decided to get a new one and put it on the board and see what will happen before we continue troubleshooting

#4 - flat cable

We checked the flat cable. All lines checked ok, except for the last one. This could be design. According to the old man this one was not in use on the board.

(my opinion) strange. Why would they disable the flat cable, if you dont use it, just leave it like that. Understand what i mean?
