Hello,

I bought a EIII (6068) but I have some problems with SCSI

I have only one FD system, and the internal HD don't works (I see it in format and impossible to format).
I try to copy the software I chose de FD and view seconds I have "FD Data CRC Error!"

I Try to format a Magneto Optical 230, a Jaz Iomega, a Hard disk 9Gb and a Syquest 88MB:
- Magneto optical, the Jaz and HD impossible to format
- the Syquest I had format the card but impossible to save a bank SCSI error.

Please can someone help me?

The first thing you need is to get the EIII to boot.

As I understand, it doesn't boot from the internal hd, right?

The floppy disk you try to use seems to be a bad disk (data crc error).

So, I'm afraid you have to get a working EIII floppy disk (with OS on it) for a start.

With this disk, you should try to format the HD. If you're successful, you then have to take a look at the scsi chain in the (master?) module.

EIII hd should be the first in row.

It's a tricky thing, try to experiment a bit, and make sure your scsi chain is terminated.

Greetz,
Elm.

It boot with the FD.
I can load bank from CD-ROM SCSI.
I can format on a Compact Flash external SCSI 256 Mb and on Syquest 88 Mb.
I put the EIII SCSI ID to 0

but I can not save banks empty or not on CF or Syquest Sad

And when I will copy software from FD on a drive..... i have a FD error Sad

I disconnect the internal HD data and alimentation but not better.

Now I change the order of the SCSI chain.

CF id 1 : it would see like internal HD
CD-Rom id 2
EIII id 6

already the same I can load bank, but not save to the CF

and I can't copy the software from FD

What is the problem?
