Hi Ringo,

I don't know about version 3.5 for the EIIIX, but the latest version is 2.10.
The image for a bootable EIIIX OS 2.10 disk can be downloaded here:
  http://users.skynet.be/emxp/EIIIXOS210.img

To save this image to a 3.5" 720K floppy disk, you can use OmniFlop for Windows XP:
  http://www.shlock.co.uk/Utils/OmniFlop201n.zip

Follow the installation instructions mentioned on the omniflop website/manual.
In short: (1) install the driver, (2) start omniflop :-)
Then license the driver for use with EMAX (again, see manual) (EMAX formatted disks are compatible with EIII(X) formatted disks...)
Now you're ready to create the EIIIX disk:
(1) Use Omniflop to format the floppy in your XP PC, choose the EMAX 10*512 layout !
(2) Copy the EIIIXOS210.img file to the floppy with Omniflop (Write-button)

Success !

I think you need a pc with an INTERNAL floppy drive. Usb floppies and external floppies won't work I think...

I have launch the OmniFlop but :
The OmniFlop driver is not installed or the driver you are using is out-of-date; If you want acces to the full range of formats supported please install the latest driver"

click ok > next and...

the format present are:
DOS 1.44
Apple 1.44
Ensoniq EPS ASR-10
Roland S/
Peavey SP
EMu EOS
EMu ESi

I have created the disc with EMu EOS 1.44.
This evening I try to house if it works and I make to know you!!!
Thanks

Hi, Andrea - - buy yourself a Zip drive or an old cd-drive (only the old ones work), and then buy yourself the famous EIII libary (8 CDs, very offten in ebay), with the cds you have a good basement for creating new sounds, and with the zip you can save your creations - - i donĀ“t know any place to download eiii sounds for free, cheers, thunder23
