hi,
does anyone have this? the one on the WWW and Yahoo User groups seems incomplete.

Specifically how do you assign a sample(s) to a preset.

If you erase banks, sample into the Eiiix the sample will automatically go to 'untitled preset 1'.  Thereafter, i'm struggling to work out how to put the next sample take, into a new preset.

thanks

i think i have my answer via the ESI-32 manual which seems to be identical to the EIIIx manual, as it was a later cost-reduction version of the EIIIx.

'Saving the Sample
To save the sample as part of a preset, de-activate the Sample/Manage- ment module. Since memory was cleared prior to sampling, the ESI-32 created a preset (00) called “Untitled Preset.” This is the preset that holds your new sample. Had you sampled into a bank with existing presets, the sample would have been stored with the current preset.
Remember, this guided tour is intended simply as an overview to give you a feel for the sampling process. Good sampling requires skill, patience, and above all, practice!'

So i need to : create preset/ then go to Sample sub-module and whatever i sample will go to that preset
