My Emax doesn't want to boot with any of my disks and i have a feeling its a drive problem (I get a disk error.) I want to use it now for midi only, but its not sending any midi signals in the disk checking stage. Is there any way to bypass the disk checking stage and just use the the EMAX as a midi keyboard?

The EMAX load it's system from disk.
So if it's not booting there is no way to send MIDI.
