Abstrakt Instruments has introduced a new pre-calibrated drop-in replacement power supply for E-mu Emulator II / II+ / II+HD. It's based on the Mean Well RT-85C.
I had been meaning to make this part for our EII's for years but finally got around to it. Since all the work is done I decided to make a bunch available to the community.
There's currently about a dozen out there - we quietly introduced these with no press release as it's such a small and tight community.

You can buy on eBay or directly from the website.

The manual is available here:

Cool!

That's quite a lot of money though.

I installed mine yesterday. Went like a charm.
Approximately 30 minutes from unscrewing the first screw in the chassis to having finished.
Well implemented I would say.

To keep shipping costs down, perhaps a version without the actual RT-85c, which probably can be easily found locally, could be offered? Then, calibration will also be needed.

A comment on the price:
Yes, considering the MeanWell RT-85c could probably be purchased  for some ?30-35 it might be percieved as expensive but that solution come without the fitted board, no 1:1 matching connectors and no calibration. One still would have to adjust for the different voltages the machine expects.

I compared the price to having the old power supply refurbished.
This solution is more efficient and produces less heat at a similar price.
Also, a clean implementation helps the instrument retain it's value compared to anything I woould have been able to build myself.

It was worth it to me.
