Hi,

I am unable to create new presets as it states 'different software' when I select the preset definition button. I have been able to do so in the past.
btw...I seem to have a buggy e3.

cheers

How many disks are connected ?
We had the same error when the software were embedded into the diskettes in the E2's, writing : "Overlay load error" on the display

Hi,

Thanks for the reply Dr. C.
I only have the internal HD.
I think at one point I tried hooking up my external scsi to it and perhaps that messed it up somehow. I never did get the external device working on it.
cheers

Start with your system floppy inside the machine, see if it does the same. If it works okay, reinstall the OS.

What disk is inside ? What did you try to plug into it as a disk ?

Hi,

Yes you were right again Dr. C.  I loaded the o/s from floppy and then saved onto my internal.
Merci Beaucoup

yes it was the original o/s from the machine.
It was working for a few hours and i thought that maybe all my problems were over.
But alas, I turned it on again and it crashes sometimes and works for a half hour and then crashes.-really unreliable.

Take off the top card, remove the memory simms, clean the contacts, put everything back in place, and retry.
