Have a look at the eBay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130291806862

At the bottom the seller mentions an extra "soundquality upgrade". What could he mean by that?

if I had to guess the sound quality upgrade is sample banks of some sort i doubt a hardware mod, but i could be wrong.

He answers an ebay users question as follows.

Q:    What are the sound upgrades you have?   Mar-06-09
A:    Hello! I don't have a certain upgrade. I can design any upgrades to virtually every synths and gears. I'm an audiophile man redesigning high-end adds and components to these machines. This one has a lot to be done depending on your pocket.

so he claims he is an audiophile who redesigns then states

Punchy sound, analog warmth due to the SSM-analog filters, compact, handy workstation, superb layout.

but eiii uses curtis filters..

whole thing seems very odd, dubious to say the least

And he mentions it in the same line as a trade for a "large Behringer mixing console". Oh well, he can try.
