Has anyone already replaced the buttons, sliders and pitch/mod wheel pots on their EIII?

Some of the buttons on my EIII are double triggering and the pitch wheel is constantly sending out MIDI CC messages because its center is shifting. Even after recalibration.

I'd like to know a source where I can buy these parts, especially the buttons. And preferably not a place where you need to buy several hunderds at once.

A while ago there was an EIII on eBay which had its buttons replaced by colored one. It looked ugly but it means they are still obtainable.

Cheers,
David

Check out www.farnell.com and digikey.com
They might have right knobs. They do have slider knobs for the EII, so why not for EIII. I'm not sure about the quantity you have to order but I guess it would cost you alot just for one piece.

I found out that this company http://www.e-switch.com/ is manufacturing the buttons for the EIII.
Here is their data sheet: http://spec.e-switch.com/X-A/XB0510P.pdf

Now if only I could find a place that sells them.

Addendum: If you're looking for the part number it's: 320.02E, price is about 2.8 USD each and you have a choice of different colors.

I found out that the part number is only useful on a distributor's site.
Eg. Mouser: http://www.mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=3Jlm%2fl9ddLzduopgbIZ2UA%3d%3d

What's the difference between "320.02E1-1.08BLK" and "320.02E1-1.09BLK"?

Looking at the data sheets on mouser.com the 320.02E1-1.09 have a larger button than the once of the .08

The .09 has a diameter of 15.88 while the .08 has a diameter of 12.40.

I believe the .08 is the one that's used on the EIII. But since I haven't yet tried to replace the buttons myself, don't take my word for it. I hope someone here can confirm that the  320.02E1-1.08 will be the exact replacement type for the EIII buttons.

As Roginator already posted in the Emulator II section but here it is again:

http://www.eprelectronics.com/store/html/index.html

We should really start to collect all these links in the same place for easier access.
