I don't know the brand, but someone once told me that a Kawai K-1 was the same as the EII. I never did confirm that...

Anyone know if it's possible to find replacement springs for the keys?  I would like to replace all the springs with new because I can feel they have lost some "springiness"

It is possible, I replaced some broken keys on mine a year ago. The top C is rare and I had to customize to make one from another one. Springs can also be found.

The brand is Mitsubishi.
Change all the springs, it will be uniform.

I purchased a Kawai K1, low mileage for 99$ - swapped over every key and spring and its an amazing difference!

Sorry to the poor little K1 who sacrificed his life....but it was worth it

You could also have bought springs on internet...

Of course, but my EII arrived with many damaged keys, and kawai k1s being newer and probably not taken on tour and played as hard generally have keys that are in perfect shape.   Just something. To keep in mind if you want a full refresh of your EII keybed, if you have mismatched keys etc...

Hello 80sboy,

does the whole Key of a Kawai K1 fits to the Keys of the EII?
