Sweetheart,

Just type "PCM53JP-i" in Google (what I did for you) and there are a lot of people selling them.

Did you try it ?

 Cool

Dottore-

What's Google?!

Anyhow... I was hoping that someone might know of a reliable supplier as I've had put in a few inquiries and the last guy said they would be here in 2 weeks as he supposedly was ordering from Japan, so far it has been 8 weeks and nothing... sweetheart

If you were a real juicy sweetheart perfumed with paradise mango and savage honey of the Birmania hills, picked-up at full moon with orchid petals, you would give us the adress where to buy these damn converters, don't you think that I am an ASSHOLE Huh

Well... regardless of all standup comedians (looking @ dr.c's way...  Wink  Cheesy )

@esmilez: please would you be kind and tell us all the address to that electronic store so we can order the parts. It actually helps!
Roginator announced a link to a store that finally solved a problem with my Emax rack. I had to find a scanner CPU for it (searching for one more than a year) since that part was broken, and without it I guess the rack could only be used for spare parts or the scrapyard.  Now it's fully functional and the interface work flawless again. So it truly helps.

Thank you guys,

///Escobar

Yo Amigos!!

Way too expensive!! I bought mine at Nexttronics.com and they are only $8.95 each!! The only problem it's taking forever, we ordered four and received 1! after 6 weeks waiting!! They told us they are ordered from Japan. But we installed the one and it fixed the distorted voice right up. I'm still waiting for the other ones which are supposed to arrive sometime in the future.  I had 2 dead voices, but after running the sine-wave test and with a scope we saw that 2 others were going bad too. Not audible, but visible anyways...lol   So for that price, heck we ordered 4 of them.

Reminds me an old Jewish joke :
"At Tel-Aviv, an old woman wants to buy some eggs at the market and tells to the grocer :
- How come a dozen of eggs at your place costs five schekels, and right in front of your store, on the other side of the street, it costs four schekels ?
- Well, lady, why do'nt you go there, so ?
- He doesn't have anymore eggs !
- So, you see... if I don't have anymore eggs, I can sale them four schekels as well...

Its JUST  a joke, ok ?
(I have to take care, now, I'm getting such a reputation...)  Grin

That joke is pretty funny Dottore, but I still have my hopes up that they'll eventually deliver the goods...like I said, one of them made it safe to my doorstep. And every other supplier was in the 40-50 dollar range per piece, so for that price I'm willing to wait a bit longer...  Roll Eyes

Monsieur Docteur-

I actually posted the URL already in my earlier post.  But here's the direct link to the part:

http://www.nexttronics.com/catalog/sony/8/875992106.htm

And the price is actually $8.50  ... pardon me.
