Hi guys, I was offered once an mint condition E1 with a 1541 C64 disk drive hooked up to the "serial" port. Is that true? The guy also had a Drumulator I think hooked up to the same diskdrive.
Is this doable??

The EI uses a full height Shugart SA400L 5.25" floppy drive. I am not sure if EI might be hooked to 1541 C64 disk drive (in theory). I meet my doubts... But for sure the Drumulator I does not use the drive in question, for it is only a ROM player. The 1541 C64 disk drive was used by the later SP-12 drum sampling machine, called originally as Drumulator II...
