FORGET IT, PROBLEM SOVED (cold solder connection)
I'm new to EIIIxp but I'm sure lcd has to be a blue back lighted one, doesn't it?
Even if I do read every character on it I'm guessin' if I must replace the whole lcd screen or is an inverter problem or both. Help!

Okay, seems we have same problems - first bad floppy drive, and now no backlight.

Where should I even start looking for bad solder...?

Tnx
